29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   On or about October 24, 2023 the employer did not ensure that employees tasked with roof tear off on a residential home at  30814 Schwartz Road, Westlake, OH were protected from falls to the ground below with the use of conventional fall protection measures. Employees were working on a on 8/12 pitch roof approximately 18 feet to the ground below.   Hosmer Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1566567, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 23, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 5113 SR 43, Kent, OH 44240.
