29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.  On or about October 25, 2023, three framers were installing new trusses with pneumatic nail guns for an apartment roof under construction without the use of eye protection, exposing the framers to the hazard of being struck-by flying debris or projectiles.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  On or about October 25, 2023, three framers were installing new roof trusses for an apartment complex under construction without the use of fall protection, exposing the framers to the hazard of falling approximately 20-feet to the ground below.
