29 CFR 1910.106(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that conspicuous and legible signs prohibiting smoking were posted within sight of the employee being served:    a.  On or about 26 October 2023, at the fuel dispensing and storage tanks areas, The Yacht Club at Palmas del Mar, Humacao, PR.  In areas where flammables and combustibles materials were located, it was observed that "no-smoking" signs were missing.  NOTE:	Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item since it was submitted prior to citation issuance. Please disregard the abatement date.

29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:   a.  On or about 26 October 2023, at piers fuel dispensing areas, The Yacht Club at Palmas del Mar, Humacao, Puerto Rico.   Employees engaged in maintenance and fuel dispensing operations at the marina, had been working without approved life vests so as to protect them from injury.  NOTE:	Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item since it was submitted prior to citation issuance. Please disregard the abatement date.
