29 CFR  1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe:  a) Lots 85-88 Mill Creek Springs subdivision, Buford, GA: Front of building: On or about 10/31/2023, the employer exposed employees to severe lacerations/amputation hazards while performing wood cutting operations, in that the saw guard was chocked back with a wood shim which prevented the guard from retracting after a cut was made.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:   a) Lots 85-88 Mill Creek Springs subdivision, Buford, GA: Second floor: On or about 10/31/2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 11-feet to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided while installing second floor decking.

29 CFR  1926.1051(a): Stairways or ladders were not provided at all personnel points of access where there was a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, and no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist was provided:   a) Lots 85-88 Mill Creek Springs subdivision, Buford, GA: Second floor: On or about 10/31/2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 8-feet to the lower 2nd floor, in that a  ladder or other safe means was not provided to access/egress the top plates while installing 2x4 walls. Employees climbed the framework and wall bracing to access the lower levels.
