This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 9 feet.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards: (a) 802 Jamaica Dr., Grand Junction, CO, 80516: On or before November 7, 2023, the employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in roofing operations was trained to recognize the hazards of working at elevation and trained in the use of fall protection. Employees moving and securing items in gusty winds and working near the edge on a single-story residential home, with a roof slope of 4-in-12, did not utilize a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 9 feet.
