29 CFR  1926.300(b)(1):When power operated tools are designed to accommodate guards, they shall be equipped with such guards when in use.  Location:  a) Interior 1st floor of the job site.  On or about November 14th, 2023, an employee used electric-powered angle grinders to cut bricks. The angle grinder was designed to accommodate a guard for the cutting wheel and was not equipped with such a guard when in use.

29 CFR  1926.403(b)(2):Installation and use. Listed, labeled, or certified equipment shall be installed and used in accordance with instructions included in the listing, labeling, or certification.  Location:  a) Interior 1st Floor on the job site.  On or about November 14th, 2023, the employer did not ensure that equipment was used in accordance with the instructions included in the listing, labeling, and certification by Underwriters Laboratories

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):"Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  Location:  a) Interior 1st Floor of the building.  On or about November 14th, 2023, an employee was sitting on the floor beam, leveling the 1st-floor of the building beams and joists without fall protection, and was exposed to falling approximately 7 feet 2 inches from the 1st floor to the ground level below.
