29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about November 22, 2023, and at times prior, employees on a roof of a commercial structure with a pitch greater than 5/12 were exposed to unprotected sides and edges in excess of 6 feet above a lower level and were not protected by guardrail systems, toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. This exposed the employees to fall hazards.
