29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(ii): A powered industrial truck was left unattended when the operator is 25 ft. or more away from the vehicle which remains in view, or whenever the operator leaves the vehicle, and it is not in view:  a) Construction Site: On or about December 05, 2023, employees were exposed to struck by hazards from the unoccupied Genie GTH 844 All Terrain Forklift with a load of floor joists suspended. The powered industrial truck was left unattended when the operator was out of sight of the truck  This provision is applicable to construction work as incorporated by reference in 1926.6(e)(16) ANSI B56.1-1969, Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks, IBR approved for �1926.602(c).
