29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   (a) 0309 Severance Dr., Parker, CO: On or before December 21, 2023, and at times prior, the employer failed to protect its employees from fall hazards of 10 feet and greater while engaged in residential re-roofing operations., in that seven employees removing and installing shingles on a multi-story residential home, with a roof pitch of approximately 6-in-12, were not utilizing a fall protection system.  The employees wore fall harnesses; however, they were not connected to the fall protection system that was installed on the roof.  This condition exposed the employees to a fall of approximately 10 to 18 feet.  A. Hernandez Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of the same or substantially similar condition of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1466701, Citation Number 1, Item 3 issued on February 28, 2020, and became Final Order on June 2, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 5892 S. Lisbon Way, CENTENNIAL, CO 80015
