Compressed air shall not be used for cleaning purposes except where reduced to less than 30 p.s.i. and then only with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment.  a)	  On or about January 18, 2024, CNC machines area: employees were exposed to  embolism hazards while cleaning surfaces and blowing dust off of themselves, in that the employer allowed the use of compressed air at over 100 PSI.   b)	 On or about January 18, 2024, at the Shipping/Receiving areas:  employees were exposed to embolism hazards while cleaning surfaces, in that the employer allowed the use of compressed air at over 80 PSI.
