Compressed air shall not be used for cleaning purposes except where reduced to less than 30 p.s.i. and then only with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment.  a) On or about January 24, 2024, at the Die Shop: employees were exposed to eye and embolism hazards, in that compressed air hoses with 100 PSI were used for cleaning surfaces and product parts.  b) On or about January 24, 2024, at the Received/Shipping: employees were exposed to eye and embolism hazards, in that compressed air hoses with 80 PSI were used for cleaning surfaces and product parts.
