29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): The ladder extension was positioned such that deflection under a load, by itself, would cause the ladder to slip off its support: a) At 10930 Catania Avenue, Lot 149 The Verandas, Fairhope, Alabama: On January 26, 2024; the employer failed to ensure an extension ladder used by employees to gain access to the roof was set up with its rails extended at least three feet above the roofs landing to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 11 feet 5 inches to the ground below.
