29 CFR  1910.133(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:   In the production floor, employees were not wearing safety glasses / or appropriate eye protection and were exposed to flying particles, liquid chemicals, chemical gases or vapors in the following areas:  1) On or about February 8, 2024, extrusion line #3, an employee was wearing prescription eyewear without side shields and not American National Standards Institute (ANSI-87) rated safety eyewear.   2) On or about February 8, 2024, extrusion line #1 and #2, an employee was wearing prescription eyewear without side shields and not American National Standards Institute (ANSI-87) rated safety eyewear.   3) On or about February 8, 2024, on the production floor, the Production Supervisor was wearing prescription eyewear without side shields and not American National Standards Institute (ANSI-87) rated safety eyewear.
