A machine operator used a Baldor Motor retrofitted with a rotating drum to sand the approximately 12-inch back assembly piece with the operator's hands working within approximately 6 inches of the unguarded rotating sanding drum, thereby exposing the employee's hands and fingers to entanglement and amputation hazards.
