29 CFR  1910.101(b):  The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6:  a) On or about February 13, 2024, at the Market STT Supermarket, inside the Electrical Room:  a compressed oxygen gas cylinder without a label was not secured from being knocked over, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards.  b) On or about February 13, 2024, at the Market STT Supermarket, inside the Electrical Room:  a nitrogen cylinder, UN1066, Non-Flammable Gas, was not secured from being knocked over, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards.  NOTE:  Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for all instances of this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

29 CFR  1910.157(c)(1):  Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries:   a) On or about February 13, 2024, at the Market STT warehouse: a fire extinguisher, ABC, Dry Chemical, 10 pounds, serial number B8Q221205, was not mounted on a wall and was obstructed by a small compressor, a large fan, and a rack with boxes and other materials, exposing employees to fire hazards.   NOTE:  Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1):  Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:  a) On or about February 13, 2024, at the Market STT warehouse: an electrical box for the gate, brand 'Heavy Duty', Square D, 600 VAC, was obstructed by a rack with a computer terminal and a large fan, exposing employees to electrical hazards.  b) On or about February 13, 2024, at the Market STT warehouse: an electrical box 'General Electric' to power the trash compactor was obstructed by plastic, cardboard, and large metal beams, exposing employees to electrical hazards.  NOTE:  Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for all instances of this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.
