Abatement certification is required.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a) Forklift Charging Area, DNT Express, LLC, 80 Davis Parkway, Clyde, NY 13790, on or about 2/13/2024; Employees are required to add water to the acid in the batteries of the powered industrial trucks. Suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes was not provided within the work area for immediate use. A Sperian Fendall Pure Flow 1000 eyewash was available in the area, however, the solution to flush the eyes expired 05/2023.  Abatement certification is required.
