29 CFR  1910.28(b)(1)(i):  Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):   Location - Storage area/ Ship From Store Area On or about  02/14/2024, an employee was exposed to a 7 to 9 foot fall from the rack to the concrete ground below, when the employee opened the gate of a Work Assist Vehicle and stepped onto the rack.   Target Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.28 (b) (1) (i) which was contained in OSHA inspection Number 1408868 , Citation Number 1, Item Number 1 , Issued on 08/28/2019 with respect to a workplace located at 1205 South Washington Street, N Attleboro, MA 02760. The final order date for the citation was on 11/30/2020.
