29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries:  a) On or about February 15, 2024, at the Daswani Jewelry Store, on the sales floor behind counter there was a fire extinguisher, ABC, 10 pounds, Model A10H, Serial Number YW-833977, not hanging from a wall, exposing employees to fire hazards.  b) On or about February 15, 2024, at the Daswani Jewelry Store, on the sales floor behind another counter there was a fire extinguisher, ABC, 5 pounds, model FE2A10, Serial Number MC00421064 on the floor, not hanging from a wall, exposing employees to fire hazards.  NOTE:  Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item since it was submitted prior to citation issuance.
