29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize hazards related to ladders and stairways:  At the jobsite, employees using ladders to access upper landing surfaces and engaged in installing roofing material were exposed to ladder hazards and when asked, the employer did not provide a training program with hazard recognition and avoidance training and ensure employees were not exposed to ladder hazards and fall hazards.

At the jobsite, employees operating a Metabo nail gun to perform roofing activities without eye and face protection exposing him to the hazard of being struck-by flying objects.  Enrique Cueyar was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1714728, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/23/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 4000 Centerfire, Waco, TX 76705.
