29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.   a) Residential construction located on Lot 644, Twin Lakes Subdivision, Hoschton, GA 30548, Roof: On or about 2/27/2024, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that protective eyewear was not used where tools and equipment such as but not limited to hammer tackers were in use.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.   a) Residential construction located on Lot 644, Twin Lakes Subdivision, Hoschton, GA 30548, Roof: On or about 2/27/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 28-feet to the lower ground level from the 4/12 pitched roof, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in shingle installation activities.
