29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:  On or about March 12, 2024, an electrical panel box located in the employee breakroom was partially blocked by a table. In the event of emergency, direct access to the panels could be delayed and thus potentially expose employees and others in the immediate area to electrical and/or fire hazards  The Department of Veterans Affairs was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1716623, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on February 1, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at Mather, CA.  The Department of Veterans Affairs was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1714610, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on January 17, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at Palo Alto, CA.  The Department of Veterans Affairs was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1681100, citation number 1, item number 2and was affirmed as a final order on October 6, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at San Francisco, CA.  The Department of Veterans Affairs was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1654907, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on April 17, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at San Juaquin Valley National Cemetery, CA.  The Department of Veterans Affairs was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1462324, citation number 1, item number 2and was affirmed as a final order on March 20, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at North Las Vegas, NV.
