In the back of the establishment at the northeast rear exit, located at 1281 NW 76th Blvd, Gainesville, FL: On or about March 14, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fire and being trapped hazards in an emergency, in that the Exit sign at the rear emergency exit door had been painted over.

29 CFR  1910.37(b)(5): Each doorway or passage along an exit access that could be mistaken for an exit was not marked "Not an Exit" or similar designation, or be identified by a sign indicating its actual use (e.g. closet):  a. In the back of the establishment at the southeast rear door, located at 1281 NW 76th Blvd, Gainesville, FL: On or about March 14, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fire and being trapped hazards in an emergency, in that this door could be mistaken for an exit in that it had an Exit sign above the door, and was not marked as Not an Exit.
