At the jobsite, employees were not wearing hardhats while working below other employees that were framing a residential house, exposing employees to struck-by hazards from falling objects.

At the jobsite, employees operating a Interchange and Metabo nail gun to perform framing activities without eye and face protection exposing him to the hazard of being struck-by flying objects.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system.  At the jobsite, employees installing framing activities were not provided fall protection and exposed to an unprotected fall hazard at a height of over 6 feet to the ground below.  Jesus Limon was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1631475, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/20/23, with respect to a workplace located at 13386 Sprucewood Trail, Frisco, TX 75034.

The employer did not provide a training program with hazard recognition and avoidance training where part of the job is to be exposed to fall hazards at a heights over 6 feet to the ground below.  Jesus Limon was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1631475, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/20/23, with respect to a workplace located at 13386 Sprucewood Trail, Frisco, TX 75034.
