Accumulation was determined through wipe sampling to have accumulated to 325.03 micrograms per 100 cm2.  c.  On or about March 21, 2024, the employer failed to maintain as free as practicable of accumulations of lead, the vending machine.  Accumulation was determined through wipe sampling to have accumulated to 1613 micrograms per 100 cm2.  d.  On or about March 21, 2024, the employer failed to maintain as free as practicable of accumulations of lead, the kitchen sink knob.  Accumulation was determined through wipe sampling to have accumulated to 295.21 micrograms per 100 cm2.  e.  On or about March 21, 2024, the employer failed to maintain as free as practicable of accumulations of lead, the ice box. 29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1):Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also includes the following:  1.  Employee information and training as specified in paragraph 29 CFR 1910.1200(h). 2.  Complete list of hazardous chemicals known to be in the workplace, 3.  Methods to inform employees of the hazards on non routine tasks.   a.  On or about March 21, 2024, employees supervising the range were sweeping used bullet casings inside the range stalls.  Employees were exposed to respiratory hazards such as lead dust.  The employer failed to develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met.  b.  On or about March 21, 2024, employees were inside the range teaching and assisting customers in the handling of firearms.  Employees were exposed to respiratory hazards such as lead dust.  The employer failed to develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met.   Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
