29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.   (a) At the worksite: On or about 3/27/2024, the employer did not ensure that employees utilized protective eyewear to prevent an exposure to serious eye injuries, while working with wet concrete.  Cherokee Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1671040, citation number 01, item number 001b and was affirmed as a final order on, 07-25-23 with respect to the workplace located at 63 Eccleston Avenue, North Kingstown, RI  02852.
