29 CFR  1910.213(b)(7): Feeder attachments shall have the feed rolls or other moving parts so covered or guarded as to protect the operator from hazardous points.  a. On or about April 01, 2024 and days prior, at the stair shop area, the employer did not ensure that feed rollers on a stock feeder were adequately guarded to protect employees operating the equipment. Employees utilized a Powermatic, Model PF-33, S/N 21110030210, 4-Speed Stock Feeders when they positioned and routed 8 and 10-foot lumber boards to the feeder rollers to be shaped. The guarding was configured in a way that allowed employees fingers/hands to contact the pinch points of the feed rollers each time they cleared the machine and positioned the lumber boards.
