On or about April 10, 2024, Employee operating a DeWalt table saw to cut decking material did not receive training in the recognition of hazards associated with operating the saw without the guard installed.  Note: ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19

29 CFR  1926.304(h): Circular crosscut table saw(s) were not guarded by a hood meeting the requirements of paragraph (i)(1) of this section for hoods for circular ripsaws.  Location: 22 Brushy Lane, Westhampton, NY, 11977   On or before April 10, 2024, employee was exposed to amputation hazards while cutting decking material with a DeWalt table saw that was missing a guard.   Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
