29 CFR  1910.147(c)(6)(i):The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed:  a) On or about 04/23/2024 in the production area; where the company has hazardous energy control procedures for equipment such as, but not limited to turret punch press, laser cutting machine press brakes and band saws. The last documented review/revision of the procedures was in 2011. The employer did not have documentation of any review that may have occurred since 2011.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR  1910.147(c)(6)(i)(C):Where lockout was used for energy control, the periodic inspection did not include a review, between the inspector and each authorized employee, of that employee's responsibilities under the energy control procedure being inspected:  a) On or about 04/23/2024 in the production areas: where the "authorized employees" have not been observed and certified while performing a lockout procedure in the last several years. No certification was available for the most recent periodic evaluation of "authorized employees". Employees perform servicing/maintenance on machines and equipment such as, but not limited to : turret punch press, press brakes, and horizontal band saw.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
