OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:  a) Jobsite located at EPC Warehouse - 2180 Bennett Road Philadelphia, PA 19116 - On April 23, 2024, employees were working within the vicinity of an industrial steel racking system with columns that that did not have anchors. The racking system was used to store product and material used to manufacture food products, exposing the employee working near the racking system to tip-over/crushing hazard, and falling object hazards.

29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program that included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii):   a) EPC Inc: 2180 Bennett Road Philadelphia, PA 19116 - On or about April 23, 2024, the employer did not develop, implement and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program for employees handling hazardous chemicals. Employees are exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to the following:   -Dimethylpolysiloxane as found in HOCUT 795 B -Dimethyl ether as found in Slide Econo-Mist Mold Release -etc.

29 CFR  1910.242(b): Effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment was not used when compressed air was used for cleaning purposes:  a) EPC Inc: 2180 Bennett Road Philadelphia, PA 19116 - On or about April 23, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that employees were not cleaning themselves off with compressed air from an air hose.  Employees were cleaning themselves off with the compressed air hoses before the end of shift exposing employees to flying object hazards.  b) EPC Inc: 2180 Bennett Road Philadelphia, PA 19116 - On or about April 23, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that the compressed air used for cleaning machinery and equipment was reduced to 30 p.s.i. or less. Employees were utilizing compressed air with pressure of at least 50 p.s.i. to clean off their work areas and material, exposing employees to flying debris hazards
