29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):Types of guarding. One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.   On or about April 16, 2024, the employer failed to ensure the operator of the Line 12 Roll Forming Mill was protected by one or more methods of machine guarding from the hazardous ingoing nip points and rotating parts of the roll forming mill rolls and the material as it passes through the mill and straightener block, while the roll forming mill was operated in the jog mode.
