29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  On or about April 30, 2024, the employer failed to ensure employees were protected from fall hazards by utilizing fall protection systems.  (a) Employees were standing on stacks of truss materials at a height of approximately 8 feet 10 inches;  (b) Employees were standing on the 2nd floor decking of a multi-story apartment building installing supports for the second floor.
