29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).  If such hazards were present, or likely to be present, the employer did not: (i) Select, and have each affected employee use, the types of PPE that would protect the affected employee from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment; (ii) Communicate selection decisions to each affected employee; and (iii) Select PPE that properly fit each affected employee:  (a) Site, intersection of Beaver Ruin Rd. and Beaver Ridge Cir. Norcross, GA; On or about April 24, 2024, an employee engaged in cable lashing of a power line was exposed to burn hazards, in that the employer did not conduct an assessment to determine the appropriate personal protective equipment for use while the employee was in proximity of the energized power line.

29 CFR  1926.960(g)(4): Flame-resistant clothing. The employer did not  ensure that the outer layer of clothing worn by an employee, except for clothing not required to be arc rated under paragraphs (g)(5)(i) through (g)(5)(v) of this section,  was flame resistant under any of the conditions specified under paragraphs g(4)(i) through g(4)(iii) of this section:.  (a) Construction site located at the intersection of Beaver Ruin Rd. and Beaver Ridge Cir. Norcross, GA: On April 24, 2024, one employee was exposed to burn hazards in that the employer did not ensure flame resistant clothing was available or in use by the employee while they were performing work in the proximity of energized parts.

29 CFR 1926.960(c)(1)(iii): The employer did not ensure that no employee approaches or takes any conductive object closer to exposed energized parts than the employer's established minimum approach distance, unless the measures outlined in 1926.960(c)(1)(iii)(A) - (C) were met:  (a) Site, intersection of Beaver Ruin Rd. and Beaver Ridge Cir. Norcross, GA; On or about April 24, 2024, one employee was exposed to burn hazards in that the employer did not ensure minimum approach distances (MADs) for the employee and conductive objects were observed during work performed in the proximity of the energized power line.
