On or about May 2, 2024, at the warehouse area. Employees worked and walked by empty propane (LPG) gas cylinder that was not labelled, stored and secured to prevent being knocked over. 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries a. On or about May 2, 2024, at the IT room area, one fully-charged Class ABC 5-lbs portable fire extinguisher was not mounted and was placed at floor level next to a Dirt Devil vacuum, a bucket with cleaning products, juice bottles and a time cards metal rack. NOTE 1: CC1 Virgin Islands, Wine & Spirits, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 1910.157(c)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1738559 , citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09-10-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 7020 Estate Bovoni, St. Thomas, VI 00802. NOTE 2: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer prior to citation issuance.
