29 CFR  1910.217(b)(4)(ii): A pad with a nonslip contact area shall be firmly attached to the pedal.  a.  On or about April 24, 2024, at the production area of the worksite location employees used the foot pedal to operate the press machines.  The employer did not ensure that the foot pedal for #885-E.W. Bliss Co. 23-Mechanical Power Press had a nonslip contact pad attached to ensure the foot pedal did not move freely.
