29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a. Roof - On or about April 22, 2024, an employee removed siding from the second-floor exterior, standing on the previously cleared roof over the entry. The employee worked at height of approximately 11 feet above grade without fall protection.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
