29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. Porch Roof - On or about May 8, 2024, employees were installing flashing to finish the installation of metal roofing on a pole building without fall protection, the employee was working on a 6:12 pitch that was 8.5 feet from the ground.
