29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  On or about May 8, 2024, employees were exposed to fall hazards above 6 feet without fall protection while conducting roofing activities on a commercial construction site in Springfield, Illinois, and the employer did not ensure an adequate fall protection system was being used.
