Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a. At a temporary commercial worksite, at the right side of the green trailer container, located at, 200 N. Flager Avenue in Edgewater, FL: On or about May 14, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that the employees performing roofing work used a 10-foot A-frame ladder to egress the top of the green trailer container while it was in the closed position leaned up against a structure, exposing employee to a fall hazard.  b. At a temporary commercial worksite, behind red trailer container, located at, 200 N. Flager Avenue in Edgewater, FL: On or about May 14, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that the employees performing roofing work used an 8-foot A-frame ladder to egress the top of the red trailer container while it was in the closed position leaned up against a structure, exposing employee to a fall hazard.
