29 CFR 1910.36(e)(1): A side-hinged door was not used to connect any room to an exit route: a) Production Line 1: On or about May 20, 2024, employees were exposed to fire and smoke inhalation hazards due to a roll up doorway being used to connect the production room to the material locker room along the designated exit route. b) Material Locker Room 1: On or about May 20, 2024, employees were exposed to fire and smoke inhalation hazards due to a roll up doorway being used to connect the material locker room to the warehouse area along the designated exit route. c) Production Line 2: On or about May 20, 2024, employees were exposed to fire and smoke inhalation hazards due to a roll up doorway being used to connect the production room to the material locker room along the designated exit route. d) Material Locker Room 2: On or about May 20, 2024, employees were exposed to fire and smoke inhalation hazards due to a roll up doorway being used to connect the material locker room to the warehouse area along the designated exit route. Abatement certification required.

29 CFR 1910.36(b)(1): At least two exit routes were not available to permit prompt evacuation of employees during an emergency: a) Production Line 1: On or about May 20, 2024, employees working on the production line were exposed to fire hazards due to only one exit meeting the requirement of the OSHA standards, in that a roll up door was used instead of a side hinged door. b) Production Line 2: On or about May 20, 2024, employees working on the production line were exposed to fire hazards due to only one exit meeting the requirements of the OSHA standards, in that a roll up door was used instead of a side hinged door. Abatement certification required.
