29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a). On or about June 05, 2024, at 26-01 4th Street, Astoria, NY 11102. Employee of Hua Yang Inc. cutting a steel wall framing stud with a Milwaukee cut-off machine without eye protection was exposed to struck by hazards.    Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
