This was most recently documented on or about June 11, 2024 at a construction jobsite located at or about 8729 Dragon Fly Lane, Lincoln, Nebraska. Employee(s) were framing a residential roof while working at a height of approximately 12 feet 10 inches measured from the ground to eave without fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): The employer is exposing employees to fall hazards where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  Employee(s) engaged in residential construction were exposed to fall hazards. This was most recently documented on or about June 11, 2024 at a construction jobsite located at or about 8729 Dragon Fly Lane, Lincoln, Nebraska. Employee(s) were framing a residential roof where a ladder was used by the employees that was not extended above the upper landing surface.
