29 CFR  1910.178(f)(2): The storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gas fuel was not in accordance with NFPA Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gases (NFPA No. 58-1969), which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6.  a. On or about June 25, 2024, at the receiving area.  Employees worked and walked by empty propane (LPG) gas cylinders that were not labelled as empty, stored and secured to prevent being knocked over. The cylinders were stored below an electrical panel area.   NOTE:  Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.

Employees were exposed to a struck by hazard while loading, unloading and storing pallets of merchandise when using power industrial trucks such as Mitsubishi-propane (LPG), Manitou-battery operated and Crown-battery operated pallet truck. The employer did not certify that each operator had been trained and evaluated.
