29 CFR 1910.28(b)(13)(i): The employer did not ensure when work is performed less than 6 feet (1.6 m) from the roof edge, each employee is protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, travel restraint system, or personal fall arrest system. (a) EN&T Building: On July 1, 2024, employees were performing servicing activities on a roof top HVAC unit located on a three-story commercial building with an eave to ground height of approximately 45 feet without the use of fall protection.
