29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge 6 feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  a) Jobsite located at 6900-08 McKean Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148 - On or about July 10, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees engaged in commercial construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were protected guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. Employees were performing demolition on top of a one story building without the use of fall protection, thereby exposing employees to falls of approximately 12 feet.  The E K Multiservice LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1546816, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on February 18, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 915 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA.  The E K Multiservice LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1726273, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 29, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 906-16 N. Broad St. Philadelphia, PA.
