29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a) Joe's Meat Market, 6845 Slocum Road, Ontario, NY - Retail Area. On or about July 11, 2024, employees did primal and retail cuts with a Hobart Vertical Bandsaw on a daily basis without using a push plate or ensuring the unused portion of the saw is guarded. The employer did not ensure that the point of operation of the bandsaw was guarded, and the push plate was utilized to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during the operating cycle, exposing workers to point of operation hazards should contact occur with the unguarded portion of the bandsaw. b) Joe's Meat Market, 6845 Slocum Road, Ontario, NY - Processing Area. On or about July 11, 2024, employees did primal and retail cuts with a Worthington Vertical Bandsaw on a daily basis without using a push plate or ensuring the unused portion of the saw is guarded. The employer did not ensure that the point of operation of the bandsaw was guarded, and the push plate was utilized to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during the operating cycle, exposing workers to point of operation hazards should contact occur with the unguarded portion of the bandsaw.

On or about July 11, 2024, the employer failed to provide copies of OSHA Forms 300, 300-A and 301 (or its equivalent), which were requested for calendar years 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 to date.
