29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59). (a) Prospect Terrace Park: On or about July 26, 2024, the employer did not develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met for use when working with hazardous chemicals including Prosoco "Sure Klean". ABATEMENT NOTE: In accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1200 (e)(1) the written hazard communication program shall at least include the following: a. A list of hazardous chemicals used in the workplace (1910.1200(e)(1)(i)), b. The methods the employer will use to inform employees of the hazards associated with non-routine tasks and the hazards associated with chemicals contained in unlabeled pipes in their workplace (1910.1200(e)(1)(ii)), c. An explanation of labels and other warnings used by the employer to warn employees of chemical hazards in their workplace (1910.1200(f)), d. An explanation of, and how to access Safety Data Sheets for hazardous chemicals located in their workplace (1910.1200(g)), e. An explanation of how employees will be trained on hazardous chemicals in their workplace (1910.1200(g)).
