29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) On or about August 1, 2024, location at 2335 East Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach FL 33062, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards while the employees were working on a platform approximately 12-feet above the ground without the use of a guardrail system, safety net system and/or personal fall arrest system exposing employees to a 12-feet fall hazard.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed.  a) On or about August 1, 2024, location at 2335 East Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach FL 33062, the employer did not ensure that a 16-feet portable extension ladder being used by employees to access the platform approximately 12-feet high that they were working on extended 3 feet above the landing were exposed to an approximate 12-feet fall hazard.
