29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).  On August 12, 2024, employees performed framing work on a residential home without fall protection exposed to fall hazards greater than 6-feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.1051(a): Stairway(s) or ladder(s) were not provided at all personnel points of access where there was a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, or no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist was provided.  On August 12, 2024, the employer did not provide an extension ladder where employees could access and egress the residential building second level safely, exposing them to potential fall hazards.
