(A)  The employer did not determine each employee's exposure as required.  On or about August 15, 2024, the employees working in the Analytical Lab were using methylene chloride as an extraction solvent during the sample preparation and analysis of beta-carotene products. The employer failed to determine each employee's exposure by taking a personal breathing zone air samples that are representative of each employee's exposure.  Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
