29 CFR  1926.451(g)(1)(vii): For all scaffolds not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, each employee shall be protected by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section.   a) 4 Celestial Court, Barnegat, NJ: An employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately nineteen feet to the ground below. A pump jack scaffold was  being used to finish installing siding on the roofline of a residence. The employee was not wearing fall protection or fully protected by the netting on the scaffold. Observed on or about 08/22/24  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
